Our consultants are active headhunters and will aggressively search and find the talent you require. Our philosophy at PD revolves around our commitment to both clients and candidates. We seek to truly understand the client, its business model, competitors and its operations (particularly in Japan) to build a long-term business relationship. If we are not in a position to effectively support your organization, we will tell you why and recommend a competitor that can meet your needs.

In recent years, with the collapse of Japan Inc. and lifetime employment, more Japanese are willing to consider job changes. Many from this talent pool now see foreign affiliated (Gaishikei) companies as an attractive option. At the same time, however, there is an influx of new foreign and Japanese startups also targeting this same talent. In Japan, clients have a number of recruiting options. Typically, advertising, job banks (Jinzai Bank), internal referrals, job fairs and search firms. Foreign companies are often surprised to find that many of the methods used in their home countries are NOT successful in Japan. For this reason they frequently turn to active recruiting companies.
